I have a pair of red goldens for the last few years, every year they produce plenty of eggs and the hen sits on the ones I leave her. This year I traded a baby for another female. However after a few months I found her dead in the pen. Thought it was accident or something. I have since put in three of her female offspring in the pen with them. Now two of those have been killed as well. Is it possible that she is killing the other hens in her pen?? I know the male has been chasing them around fanning to them. any thoughts?
