I have been reading the forum and i see that people use vinegar and cayenne pepper for chickens. What are all the uses for both and what kind of vinegar

I don't know of all the benefits of cayanne pper but that if feed daily in the feed
3 tbsp of cayanne pepper to gallon of feed
it will help to keep the worms out of the chicken
and to ward off coccidiosis

and cayanne pepper will cure a turkey of the black head

with that said it really gives more acidic gut flora to fight disease germs
and will help the hen use the calcium she gets
and use the Vit D the chicken gets

it is very good for using in the incubator
we always put it in the water pan and the scum didn't get in the pans of the incubator

also if used in the summer in the chicken waterers it will keep outt the "green's grow in the waterers

and the amount to use in chicken waterers is 2 tbsp per gallon
any higher amt of ACV would make it too acidy for them to drink

good information
but it was never proved that ACV is a wormer
simply a wife's tale as is pumpkin seeds

It probably was found by the people claiming this that their chickens did stay healthier all the time
that is the main purpose of ACV

also humans do take it as I have for yrs for arthritis and stomach problems
will calm a upset stomach in no time taken with honey and water or put it and honey in tea

any questions email me" off coccidiosis

as for good feather growth in chicks
using 2% of amt of feed daily in Kelp
it will help chicks feather
you can look into buying kelp as it is very good for chickens

such as people feed garlic ground up in the feed also and some put it in the waterers for help with chickens not getting respiratory disease

also they use 2% of amt of feed daily of DE to keep the birds wormed also

any questions email me
