Vitamin B-12 deficiency

I have 13 two month old chickens. One keeps moving her head from side to side. I was told she needs B-12. Has anyone else had this problem with their chickens? I'm sprinkling the B-12 granules daily.

Welcome to BYC! I'm glad you joined us! I'm not extremely familiar with vitamin deficiencies in chickens, but I would recommend posting in the "Emergencies/Diseases/Injuries and Cures" section.

I agree with Bantamfanfor life. Who told you she needed b-12? If you supplement with something that isn't truly needed you can make the situation worse.

So sorry, I don't have your answer. Please do post the question under emergencies with as much detail as you can about your chicken's problem -what you see in behavior, appearance and a physical exam. There's a lot of experienced folks on the forums, and hopefully someone can help with diagnosis and solution.
