vitamins/supplements at what age?

They can get their full beaks in it and feet. I have seen them sit in it but it's not big enough for much.

They really need something more like this,

easy to make and the hole can be enlarged as they grow and they can't climb into it, but they can dunk their whole head in which is important for them to be able to wash their whole face.

Yikes I forgot about that, that presents a problem better leave it like it is and maybe just put the new waterer in there when you can watch. till chicks are about 2-3 weeks old by then they will know better.

I'd still give ducklings something to use to wash their faces with and just let them use it under supervision, it's important for their health they be able to wash out their eyes and nares especially when eating. Just do it when you can watch those chicks.

I tasted the niacin tablet today and it had nearly no taste. I crushed it into a powder and mixed it in the food. they are eating do I should be good just doing that. Thanks for the help!
