Our 4 month old Americauna started mewing and hiccup/sneezing yesterday. We thought she must be injured, but she seems to be moving fine. Is this normal or is there something wrong with her?

First Welcome to BYC! Second is there any drainage? Is she breathing with her mouth open,lethargic, droopy wings? Poo look ok?

Her mouth is open when she mews, but there doesn't seem to be anything else wrong with her.

They make some pretty strange and funny noises, don't they? I love to hear mine sneeze squeek! I wouldn't worry unless she does it for more than a few hours. I hear them sneeze whenever I give them grain as a treat. I think they just get dust in their nostrals and have to blow it out.

She's been doing it for about 12-18 hours.
