voice changing

How old will chickens be before they start clucking instead of peeping? Mine are two months old and are still pretty much peeping.

My girls (a light brahma & an australorp) are almost 3 months old and are just in the last week going through that change. They sound a bit like honking geese. tee hee....

I honestly don't remember when my chicks voices changed. It just kind of happened. Haha.

So I guess that means mine will start in about a month, however I'll miss their happy little peeps & chirps.

I'm going to miss all their peeping too, but it will be neat to start to hear them clucking.
