My girls just discovered their voices.....sitting in the kitchen this morning and heard some loud noises, went outside and its 1 of my girls for sure, very loud.........they are 19 weeks.....could it be we will have eggs soon?

I have a Welsummer that's always been L O U D. She's getting close to laying and getting louder by the day. "Get a hen--they're SO much quieter than a rooster".. yeah... right.

I can clearly hear my ladies egg song from inside even though their coop is a good 400 feet from the house. I love living in the country.
