A couple of weeks ago, I noticed Queenie vomit a mucus like fluid. I've noticed her with the same movement, although no liquid, when she's preening in the mornings. Today, I noticed her plumage seemed lighter on the top, but it was wet, so I didn't think much about it. This afternoon, I noticed her beard is completely gone on one side. We have had 100 degree weather for the last few days and because of a hawk, there are only five ladies and their run is 13x28, so quite large. Could it be just the first molt for both of us?
