W00t! I'll get to keep 'em in my apartment when I move!

I'm so excited! I'll be allowed to keep my chickens with me when I move into my apartment! I'm just going to bring one though, probably my little bantam hen.
Anyone here have chickens in their house or apartments?
What are some tips?



And, yes, I did post a thread about the possibility of this being allowed but it has come true and I've confirmed it!

Yup, I had a silkie rooster for a year in my apt. and ONLY cuz he wound up a roo rather than a hen so couldnt live outside with the others in feer of us having to get rid of him since we live int he city.

He would hang out with the dogs in their dog beds. I got to learn his 'pooing scedule' and only let him out during those times when he did not poo he's go a good 3-4 hours!....otherwise he was in a hutch we built. it had plastic covering the floor, then a ayer of newspaper, then wood chips on top. Everyone's comment was always "wow, it doesnt even smell like you have a chicken in yur house"

However the doodle dooing got a tad abnoxious so we did rehome him to a farm recently.
