Waiting on a Rooster to Mature

My next question...my little silver duckwing bantam kinda rules the roost. My DOM roo is only 9 mos so he hasn't established his own territory yet. Will he ever? Or will I have to get rid of the bantam first??

When will the Dom Roo become fully mature and start to mate with the hens? His spurs have really developed in the last 3 weeks.

They get along fine, but when eating or especially roosting or even walking around you can tell who's the boss. We got the DOM because my wife wants to try to hatch some chicks and the bantam tries lol but he just cant reach that far

If the banty has established himself as the alpha, it will probably stay that way unless the dom is very brave and decides to challenge him at some point. Size means nothing when it comes to roosters.

I have two roosters that have seperate flocks and they stick with their own girls, but they were raised seperately. When I had two roosters in the same flock, my current alpha was a chicken (pardon the pun) until I re-homed his brother.
