wallet stolen..no DL without Bith C, no Birth C without DL

Here in IN Last year I had to have both parents names, where they were born, SS # and a copy of drivers license. Even when I went downtown to get a new copy of my daughters in 05 (she got into my wallet and ate a hole right in the middle) I had to have my drivers license before they would give me one. They make it impossible to get new papers I swear!!! What about people who's houses burn down and they lose everything. How are they supposed to get new things also?

I'd try calling the city where your BC is again and ask what else can be done to get it.

when my son lost his wallet and license he couldn't gt a copy of his birth certificate eithr. He finally wnet to the DMV and got a state identification card. Since he had a drivers llicense they were able to lookup his idenity on the computer and issue the card. I have one as well and did not have to have any ID to get it. They just asked if I ever had a drivers license, they pulled the info up on the computer and issued the card.
