walls

https://www.backyardchickens.com/g/i/5094546/img-6923-jpg/ I covered the inside walls of my coop with press board...then gave it 2 coats with a flat white exterior paint. By painting the inside of the coop white it makes the inside bright during the day, so that I don't need to run lights to see. I can clearly see all parts of the coop when I'm in there working or looking for anything. With just ambient lighting everything is visible, no dark corners. The inside of the nest boxes are painted brown, which makes them look dark and inviting to a hen that is looking for a place to lay her eggs.

Mine Is unpainted. As long as the wood is treated you won't have any problems.
