We live in North Texas and we are starting a flock of Buckeyes. We would like to get a jump start on the flock by purchasing approximately 8 young hens (minimum 15 weeks) and an experienced Roo (9 months to 1 year old). We want to buy from a reputable breeder and need proof that we are buying healthy birds. If necessary, we will drive to pick up the birds (within reason). We would also be interested in purchasing Buckeye Chicks. We would be glad to get on a waiting list, but would like to get some birds by January, 2011 at the latest.
