Hello,

We are looking for a variety of eggs to incubate as a summer school project for underprivileged children. (Not to worry, the children will be guided by seasoned backyard chicken owners.)

We'd like some unusual breeds, if possible, but mostly we just want a variety. We'd like about a dozen.

Please let me know what you've got!

Thanks,
msbien

Mine aren't unusual, unless you consider mixed breeds unusual....

For roosters, I have a pure buff orpington and another roo who is a mix of who knows what.

For hens, I have black sex link, RIR x buff orpington, and ameraucanas.

Where are you located?

I have Silver Sebright eggs. I have been getting 100% fertility rates and about 95% hatch rate. Let me know if you are interested.

I have Silver Spangled and Gold Penciled Hamburgs, Silver Grey Dorkings, Rhode Island Reds, and Black Sexlinks. I'll just charge you for the shipping, usually around $38.00.

If you're interested, mine will be mixed breeds (with the possibility of pure Barred Rock). I have a barred rock rooster in with dark cornish, barred rock, rhode island red, easter egger, buff orpington, black sex-link, ancona, and white faced black spanish hens. I did have an easter egger rooster in with them also, but it's been a few weeks since he was removed.

I do have a bantam splash old english in there, but I doubt he's been able to get lucky with the girls since they're all standard sized.

If you'd like some bantams, I have an interesting mix (cochin, silkie, old english, polish, and sultan, the rooster is a crele colored silkie/old english cross).

That sounds really interesting. I have mutt chickens- all brown egg layers. I may have duck eggs if I can find out where she is hiding them.

What is going to happen to all these chickens after the children get to see them hatch?

Breeds I have:

black La Fleche
Buttercups
Onagadori
Phoenix
Cuckoo marans
black Penedesenca
Brown Red modern game
serama
turkens

ALL are pure breeds. You can email me and we can work something out on. .............

Thank you for that huge response! We've got eggs on the way now.

I really appreciate so many responses!

MsBien
