My mom is foolish and forgot to get chicks from Tractor Supply early and because of COVID-19, they have stopped selling chicks. We might order chicks online or even here on this website, but I don't know how to do it. My mom only likes attractive looking chicks and I prefer EE because of their personalities, the most preferred chicks are already gendered hens, hardy, good egg-laying, and kind. Even though I said hardy, my mother still wants some silkies.
-Ps if you do want to sell chicks to me, keep in mind that we won't buy overly pricey ones and would like a good quantity of chicks and no overly rare one because we won't buy them, you would also need to, I don't know, mail them? because I am not educated of this. Thank you. :)

I was just at R.T. Farms today admiring all of their chicks. Today they got 200 chicks. There was Noir Marans, Rhode Island Blues and Reds, Golden Comets, Barred Rocks, and best of all, Americanas!!! Easter Eggers!! I fell in love with all. There was one EE that actually had feathered legs! She probably wasn't supposed to have that, but it was cool and cute both at the same time. R.T.Farms is in Manchester, here in Maine.
Also, I have been seeing chicks at Paris Farmers Union. They've been having Barred Rocks, Golden Comets, Rhode Island Blues, and Blue Rocks.
Both places are getting their chick orders from Mt. Healthy Hatchery. That should give you a price range. The EE's at R.T.Farms was about $3.19.
I hope you can get some chicks. I wanted to get some chicks at R.T.Farms today, but currently I don't have a place to put them due to the fact I have a couple of extra bantam roosters that I need to re-home.

Thank you so much! I am new to the chicken community and didn't know that people in Maine cared much about chickens! (I know, I am not educated XD) I will look them up soon!

I just looked at the delivery locations of R.T. Farms, it does not deliver where I am, I live in Aroostook. ;-;

Well, have you checked all the local feed stores? If you don't see chicks at any of them, ask if they will be getting any. R.T.Farms is my local feed store. I hope you can find some chicks somewhere. If all else fails, you can try to order some from Mt. Healthy Hatchery themselves. You can ask them for a catalog of their chicks if you want.
Here is their website: https://www.mthealthy.com/

I might be biased, but I love Paris Farmers Union for chicks. If you said you were in Aroostook it would be a bit of a drive though. I'm pretty sure the closest one is in Winthrop. I know they have pick up day on April 30-May 1st, and then another one is June 4th-5th. I'm pretty sure some of them come sexed, but the order form specifies for each breed. There are deadlines for the order forms though. April 1st for the first pickup, and May 4th for the second pickup. Good luck in your chick search!
