Anyone know details on shipping eggs and how one would go about it? I have never done it or bought hatching eggs before that were shipped.

I am just getting started and from being on the recieving end exclusively of shipped eggs....i can tell you the best cheapest way to do it!

1. Go to the PO office and get priority mail boxes depending on the number of eggs you willl be shipping, 3 dz+ can go in a large box, 1-2 doz will fit in a medium box.
2. Also grab as many of the priority PADDED (bubble wraped) envelopes you can.
3. Take the padded envelope and place 3 eggs inside, then roll over the excess envelope into a log. Set aside, and repeat same action for all your eggs you are shipping.
4. place a few padded envelopes on the bottom and proceed to secure your egg logs wraping more padded envelopes around them and stuffing them into a tight fit.
5. Make sure you have a few layers of padded envelopes on all sides. You want a tight fit when you get ready to seal the box.

Thats it. That is the cheapest, fastest, cost effective way to ship eggs.

Now, do you have eggs for sale?
