I knew it is important to turn the duck house into »Duck Knox«, but the food storage?
That pesky Raccoon chewed through ¼" plywood to get its dirty paws onto my duck's meat-bird pellets! Then ripped open the top of a bag sat on top of it, stuffed itself and then pooped and peed into the bag. A hole 50lbs bag of duck-pellets is gone!
I discovered the mess when i wanted to fill up the duckies bulk no-waste-feeder today. Fortunately i had some old pallets (which i had planned to use as a foundation for the small duck house) so i surrounded the duck food with those. Running wires inside the pallets that are connected to my neon-transformer. This is how »Pellet-Knox« looks like:
