wanted free chicks in these breeds in michigan

hi i am looking for these 2 breeds they must be from a hatchery, 1 week old is fine and preffered if available. it needs to be free and would have to be mailed. if you can help it would be very much appericated. thanks

1 americana pullet
1 black jersey giant pullet

You can't mail chicks in that few of numbers... and shipping live birds is extremely costly. Try a bird swap... I went to one in Charlotte today and they had both of those breeds and very inexpensively priced.

why do they have to be from a hatchery...hatcheries dots even carry true americanas

i am hoping from private individules that got them and are willing to part with one. and with it being warm it shouldn't be a problem. i have bought at both at auctions and from people who hatched at home and have terrible luck. thats why i am hoping that someone who ordered them will part with one. if they live close to me then that would be great.

A week old chick would not survive a 2-3 day mailing via priority and possibly not even overnight express. Plus, shipping would be costly for you.

I think they mean have YOU given free livestock to anyone AND paid to ship it to them. Asking for free chicks is one thing but if you want them shipped ( which is very costly ) you should at least offer to pay shipping.
