PS Cara as soon as your girls get going and you think that the roo is doing his job I may be wanting some I do not see this hatch working out as they were replacement eggs and had a large # of them with floating sacs.

Sure luvzmybabz. My rooster is around 10 months old now, and he was doing his job before they stopped laying for the winter, so he's probably still at it LOL

I have a trio from Sharon at SandS Poultry and then added four more blue pullets. My trio from her is a splash roo and two blue pullets. They should be laying this spring. Very pretty birds. They have a beautiful set up for their birds.
We also have one barred roo in with them. I'm not sure if he's staying yet however, since we don't have any barred hens to go with him.
