I hope I'm posting right...

I'm looking for a few different egg types. I'd like to find local people to save on shipping and I feel I'd have better luck than shipping, my luck they would all be broken! Lol

I'm looking for:

Cayuga hatching eggs
Turkey (any large breed) hatching eggs
Tolbunt polish hatching eggs

Purebred on the ducks and chickens is preferred :)

If anyone around Sullivan County NH or in the white river jct/Springfield VT area has any or know where I can get some, I'd be very appreciative! Please list a price per dozen :)

Thank you!

Hello,
I am also looking for fertile hatching eggs in NH and hoping to avoid shipping them.
Did you have any luck finding some?
TIA

nope.. im mostly utilizing craigslist at the moment, but im having more trouble finding purebred birds, most are just "barnyard mixes"

what kind of hatching eggs are you looking for? and where are you located? i have easter egger fertile eggs in Newport. here are some chicks from my first hatch the dominant roo is a silkie/black copper marans and i have 3 other roos, a Silver Laced Wyandotte and 2 Easter Eggers. the hens are mostly easter eggers but there are 2 silver laced wyandottes as well. most of the chicks in my first hatch had feathered feet =)

Cute chicks!
Sorry for the delay, I didn't see this reply for some reason.

I also ended up on craigslist, also finding only barnyard mixes.
I'm in the Seacoast area and ended up finding eggs from a 'farm' that wasn't quite what I expected lol
The hatch rate was abysmal... Only 4 out of 10 under my broody, but they sure are cute.

I was looking to add silver laced wyandottes since I think they are gorgeous birds. Instead I have quite the assortment!
Do you keep you wyandottes separated from the others? Any pics of them?

they are all together right now, since we are in the process of putting up a fence and im mostly experimenting with hatching. once the fence is up, i want to rebuild the whole coop and section it off into 3 sections: multi-flock, breeder and brooder. i lost a few wyandotte hens this winter (so cold!) so i only have a single rooster and 2 hens. funny enough, with 3 roosters and about 20 hens in there and a ratio of 1:2 on the roos and 2:18 on the hens, i managed to get a purebred silver laced wyandotte out of my first hatch! but of course, he turned out to be a roo! hes living with a coworker now. i dont have a picture of the second wyandotte hen. ill have to get one on a nicer day. but here is the roo and one of the hens. the second hen has more white on her chest, like the feathers are just tipped with black instead of laced. they arent show birds by any means, but they are nice looking birds in my opinion.
