Hey yall turkey people! Thought I'd try you first since the BYC rocks so hard!!

We are receiving our first incubator, but only need 1 turkey tray...anybody buy the "6 pack" and don't need 1?????

Once that is acquired...I'd like to do my own eggs. Looking into the heritage Bronze and maybe a Midget White.

Looking to get no more than 6 eggs at a time. Completely new to the turkeys and hopefully by the time someone has an extra tray, we will have figured out the incubator with our chickens

Thanks to all

wonderful day to you!

Hey Kim... where did you see a turkey incubator tray? I have seen the standard and the quail... I am interested too, but I thought the turkey could fit in the regular trays...
Thanx

DH is in charge of the incubation, he obsessed over the type and model and gets to mess with the "gadgets"

I get them as soon as they hatch.

I know it is a table top, one of the best under $200...I think it holds 40...Will ask him.

Thanks again

Morning all.

I think we are putting a hold on the turkeys...for now.

We have discovered the Jersey Giants, who sound very personable, will go in with the chickens (instead of building another coop right now

), and are almost as big as a smaller turkey.
Yeah!!

I still want to do turkeys...but later...I am excited that the JG's will give a lot more meat and I can go ahead and build the goat pen.
