[Not sure where to post this so I am starting here]
I am in search of a duck buddy for Gabrielle, my three year old Cayuga. Her sister Kiera went missing two weeks ago. I originally posted on Free Rehoming but would rather consider bringing a friend to her instead.(the post is still there that has information on Gabrielle). I have been searching the Free Rehoming posts plus Craigslist in Maine, New Hampshire and Mass plus Petfinder. I've followed up on a couple of leads but nothing has worked out yet.
Our duck and chickens are our pets so we are looking for a friendly, backyard pet. It's easier to say that I do not want a Pekin, Kakhi Campbell or Runner than to list what I would consider.
Can anyone out there help?
