I have Golden speckled Italian quail and they are just a color variant of Coturnix (japanese quail)

No they are no more broody than any of the others.

Tell you what,(I'm a sucker for a brit accent) so come get them and I'll give you a half dozen...of course we are a few thousand miles apart

and theres the little puddle called the Atlantic might be in your way...
