Wanted: Rare Breeds!!!!!!!!!

I am new to the chicken biz and I have 20 babies but I am wanting to get somemore breeds. I have Barred rocks , Buffs and RIR with only 3 roos out of the bunch. I was wondering what are some good rares to get and how that will affect my eggs and with some hatchings? I really love the polish and weird looking ones. Will they get along or am I just dreaming out loud??????????

Most breeds will get along fine, especially if they are raised together. I have had a problem with RIR's that came in an order from McMurray. They seemed to be racist, and picked on everyone that wasn't a RIR. I sold them at about 16 weeks old. I don't know if all hatchery RIR's are that way, or if it was just mine...

Some crested breeds are picked on, and will get bald heads from others. But not always.
