I need a rhode island red rooster, im willing to pick up if close enough.

Hey I have a good idea where you could get one. At hatcheries they sometimes they sell adult chickens

The full grown birds from the hatcheries are a lil over the price range i was looking for. I need a close to full grown bird to full grown, no bantams.

Go to the Heritage Rhode Island Red thread there are is someone either posting or mentioned that lives in NC it would not hurt to add a high quality rooster to your pullets for approximately the same price you would pay for the same in a Production Red.
