Wanted to let everyone know where I have been...

I really don't know where to put this so I hope this is right....
I have been gone for a while and wanted to let everyone know what has happened to us. I had to rush my son to shands hospital in gainsville fl. My son had to have emergency surgery and was in icu for several days and then put him on the pediatric floor. He had screws coming out of his spine that was put in there last year. They took them out and replaced them with bigger ones plus added more rods and screws down his back. We are home now until tues and have to go back for a couple of days. I have eggs to ship out and will put them in the mail on tues. PLEASE!!!!! let me know if I owe you eggs or other things. I was supposed to do the box swap and I have my stuff but I did not get anything so need to know if they took me off the list. I am so sorry but did not have any way to let you know. I want to send the eggs I owe to everyone before I leave for gainsville again! Jo

Thank you so much. It has been a rough month...... I have also been so worried about getting my eggs sent out to the folks I owe them to. I had to through out the eggs I had and am collecting new ones so everyone will get fresh eggs to put in the bator. My son is some better now but in a lot of pain. His incision is over 10 inched long with staples up his back! The doctor said every time he moved the screws was slipping out of his spine YUK! He was worried he would move the wrong way and would get paralyzed. Oh I am so glad it is over except for the healing!!!!!

WOW. What a tough thing for anyone to go through, let alone a child (not sure how old he might be but pediatric means young

). Will keep him and you in my thoughts and prayers. That had to have been scary, afraid to move.....

here's the skinny, those eggs due out are nothing compared to your child's health and well being. BYC folks would understand in a heartbeat.

thank you so much for all of the kind words and prayers. It has been hard since my husband died a few years ago, but I know with the Lords help my son and me will come through everything just fine. We are leaving the house now and off to shands hospital again to get the staples out and hopefully not have to stay this time!!! Thanks again everyone!!!!!!!
