Wanting pheasants but don't know where to start

What kind is the best to raise? How much do they eat? What do they eat?

It depends on what you want them for,Are you raising them for meat,or just as a hobby to look at?They do not eat much at all.They need a gamebird feed same as your turkeys.I mix gamebird/turkey maintenace/grower and layer pellets for the breeding season thru fall,and then remove layer pellets and replace with cracked corn, and wheat about 50pell/25cc/25wheat,plus some black sunflower seed as a treat.They love fruits and veggies,insects,mealworm,peanuts(unsalted only),wild bird seed.
