My broccoli looks wonderful except for the little green catapillars or worms. We didnt use any kind of bug spray or chemical on our garden. I wanted to blanch the broccoli and then freeze it. I keep rinsing it but i still see little green catapillars here and there. What would you do? Toss it or just blanch it and remove the worms as you go???

pick off the caterpillars, wash thoroughly and then blanch. OH, and feed the caterpillars to your birds.

If I'm not mistaken, you're supposed to soak your brocs in cold salty water and those lil caterpillars are supposed to float. Well, most do.
Then do your blanching and freezing.

Thank you so much.
