Wanting to breed my rabbits.

My most recent mother did very well that i knew of, but she was a handover from my uncle, and she had the babies before i had gotten her. as of recently my dogs killed her babies.. I would like to have the chance to see how rabbits raise their babies from day one,, and in general-- I want baby bunnies !

But i have a few questions;

The rabbit I want to breed is sort of mean to humans, but I'm not sure about other rabbits-- or kits in this matter. If she has babies, will she attack them? or is this simply just for humans that she holds slight aggression ? Will she attack the male rabbit ?

How long does it take for a rabbit to go into kitting ? How will I know she's pregnant at all ?


Will her aggression transfer to her kits ?
