B4 i buy it, does anyone else have a Coop like this? if so how did you insalate it Cuz this Shed is a heavy Duty Plastic idk if plastic holds the heat in good in the Winter time or not they say wood Coops are the best for Winter time, never build a Metal Coop they dont keep the Heat in, so how should i insalate this Shed/Coop? Thanks

I think you could make a good coop out of that shed. But really, as far as insulation goes, I would not even waste my time. If your coop is properly ventilated, what good will insulation do in the winter? It's not like your house, where you have everything shut up tight to hold in the heat, and need insulation in the walls to help with that. After all, chickens already come with perfect insulation of their own. They really don't need any help from us.

ok so i shouldnt bother puting Foam innsulation boads on the inside walls of this Coop? i havent bought the Shed yet but im hoping to buy it soon it come as a kit so me & my Dad are gonna put it together

Nope, you (Really the chickens) don't need it. I'd worry more about setting up proper roosts, getting the nestboxes figured out, and cutting in good ventilation and making the coop predator proof. And maybe, if you live in a windy area, anchoring the coop down, so it doesn't blow across the yard.

yeah ive already thought about that stuff on how im goona build the nest boxes, the Roost pole, & how im gonna Anchor down this Shed/Coop i think it weighs 300lbs but i still wanna Anchor it down with something incase the Winds do kick up fast
