How warm is warm enough for a first trip outside?

The sweet babies are 9 days old now. It will be 70° today. I have a hardware cloth small pen set up.

I would like to let them spend a bit of time outside...maybe an hour when it is warmest out.

To chilly still?
To young to not have a heat lamp for a short while?

I do have grit, the pen is on fluffy grass.

I am thinking my outdoor small pen....roughly 4x8 needs moved into my big coop after todays potential outing. These kids are going to outgrow my small brooder WAY before they are feathered to any decent degree.
:woot For power in the big coop!

Refresh my memory, what breeds to you have?

I have 7 little Welsh harlequin cutie pies.

Of course there would be a photo shoot.

Still a bit cool out. A fox is making its presence known vocally this morning too. I definitely would not leave them outside pen or not unattended.

I lurves them thar little poop machines!
