Hi all,
I'm in North San Diego county; we are almost 3 years into having our own chickens. This forum was one of the main go-to places for my "chicken-troubleshooting". We currently have quite a variety of breeds with total of 12 chickens (3 boys + 9 girls): Speckled Wyandotte, Buff Orpington, RIR, Ameraucana, Faverolles, Sultan, Belgian d'Uccle, Golden Lakenvelder, and an Olive Egger. All roosters that we currently have came from pullet runs, including the Olive Egger ...
. Imagine our disappointment when we only got one chick of that "breed". My main reason for actually registering is to try and rehome our two 5-month-old cockerels (Olive Egger who looks like a Cream Legbar complete with a pheasant-like crest and Ameraucana - black and white) as our roo-to-hen ratio is now pretty alarming, so both boys will have to find a new flock to boss around in.
Pleased to make an acquaintance

Welcome to BYC! And greetings from the Evergreen State. Would love to have a nice rooster, but I am too far away. Perhaps posting your roosters in a So Cal forum? Good luck!!!
Best wishes and have lots of fun!

We are glad you joined this flock!
