Please help I need some guidance my cochins feathers on her feet are inflamed bubbly and look like they might be infected it's been about twenty-four hours since I wrapped unwrapped her feet I'm keeping them wrapped for treating her with bumblefoot I put prid on the bottoms of her feet her bumblefoot is looking better after unwrapping them but surprisingly her feathers on her feet look terribly painful what should I do I will post pictures later I need guidance for from people who are knowledgeable about feathered foot birds and what I should do my vet is not very knowledgeable and is never around to help

What do you mean by "feathers look painful"? Do you mean the feet where the follicles are located?
You always want to keep the wounds dry and clean. That usually requires wrapping.
I've treated my share of bumble foot but not with feather footed birds though I have raised them. If the feathers are affecting your ability to treat the bumble food, I would pluck the feathers. They will grow back when she molts.

I don't have the experience to help directly but, a Search of Bumble Foot and Foot Infections, all seem to start with an Epsom Salt Soak in warm water. Have you tried this? )...JJ
yes the yes I've soaked her feet and all the advice that I have been given is conflicting with her feathers because she's heavily feathered on her feet and I can't wrap her feet and right now her feathers are irritated. I figured out maybe what are is is causing her tops of her feet to get irritated and swollen is the oregano oil I put in her Epsom salt water a few days ago that advice was not given to me I just did it on my own I'm not very experienced I'm always making mistakes

Please post pics.
And employ some punctuation in your writing,
for clearer thoughts and communication;)

Sorry about my writing I use voice recognition and the voice recognition doesn't work all the time I'm very dyslexic and it takes me a long time to type and right so I found the easiest way to do is just speak in my voice recognition on my phone
