Was It Fertile???

Here is a pic of an egg we collected like two minutes ago. We saw Baby and Scotchie "get it on" the other day and were hoping that it was successful. We want baby Baby's!!! We weren't sure if its just not fertile, or if we didnt wait long enough, or if it is fertile and we just can't tell... etc etc. Any thoughts??

Maybe it's just my eyesight, or the crappy computer I'm using here at work, but I don't see a blastocyte or a blastodisc. I'll try again when I get home a get on my own computer. Hopefully someone will be able to answer your question before then. You can also search either of those 2 terms using the "Search" tool in the blue bar above - I know that there have been lots of good pics posted on here about that subject.

Go to Fertile eggs, Little Cimarrons18's post just down from your post and look at the fertile , non-fertile egg pics that Specklehen has posted there...your egg pic has a glare on it that I can't tell really well and since you saw the egg in person maybe you can tell by looking at hers...

I see it, but i still cannot tell. Some are more obvious than others. I have some with a light ring and some with a strong ring and i wonder if there would be absolutely NO ring at all if it were not fertile.

I have to be honest with you. I think your chances of hatching that egg are pretty slim. =]
