Sometimes I put them in the refrigerator and wash them later in larger batches. Use cold water. I have a small tub I let them soak in so I don't have to scrub them. Dry and put in refrigerator right away.

I only wash eggs that are dirty, as the natural covering, called the bloom, helps keep them fresh. If you must wash, do it in water warmer than the egg to prevent bacteria from wicking into the egg. I only use soap if it's really necessary, like on my duck eggs.

Anyone else? I washed the dozen i had in the fridge in slightly warmer water, then put them back in the fridge. I am curious to know what I should do when I sell them?

I don't wash my eggs, whether I plan to keep them for our use or sell them. My customers know to wash them just before use. They'll last longer with the bloom on and you'll destroy the bloom with washing, so.....
Most I do is a quick rub with a dry paper towel to remove any dust or minor amounts of dirt. Really dirty eggs go to the dogs.
If you must wash your eggs, you should do so in water that is at least 20 degrees warmer than the egg itself. Washing in cold water causes the contents of the egg to shrink, pulling any surface dirt and germs into the egg. Washing in warm water causes the contents to swell, pushing dirt and germs up and out. Soaking is a big no-no.
Iffin it were me and I had washed an egg, then I would definitely refrigerate it. Once the bloom is off the egg, it is more susceptible to bacteria entering, since eggshells are porous.
