Washing chickens for FFA

Hello everyone we have to do a project and I am going to wash my silkie hen. She is a sweet docile splash silkie and her name is Ellie. Anyone have any tips on washing the silkie breed or how to make it last ten minutes? I would be bery grateful for the help!

i washed my silkies with a dog shampoo called EarthBath. Its non toxic and does not strip the oils from the bird and wont harm it. I washed it in the soap then rinsed them in vinigar and blow dryed them.
