washing eggs

Yes, some people do, but it isn't required.

I do because I sell to a lot of people in my town and sometimes the eggs look pretty gross.

You're welcome. If you sell them, then it is a good idea to wash them. You don't want to deter people from buying with icky-looking eggs!
