Washington, NC -no chickens? anybody live here?

looking for people in Washington, NC. Trying to understand the city ordinance and what we can do to keep chickens.

I'm researching the same thing. I as told we can't have any chickens in city limits but I want to know why and what we can do to get the law changed. I'll update you when I know something/anything. Please do the same here!

Ok, so no livestock inside Washington city limits...Thankfully we bought a house in January just outside of the city! I've started my flock and I'm super excited. As in the city laws, it would be nice if they would at least allow a few hens for personal use. If there is anything I can do to help you in attempting to get this changed I would love to, so let me know. good luck and please keep me updated
