HI...
I have 2 EE, 3 Barred Rock, and a black bantam (Have no idea what she is) they are all 5 months. I'm new to this chicken raising stuff, fun so far...
1 EE is laying, 3 Barred Rock are laying, bantam no eggs, or the other EE no eggs. I feed them laying food, with some treats, like corn, scratch and greens...not all together...oyster shell. any suggestions?

I live in Washington - 30 miles South of Seattle.

I'm a few hours away from Seattle. I'm new to this, too. For the chickens that aren't laying yet, I'd say you should just wait it out. I'm waiting for my hens to start laying as well.Seems like you are doing everything right.

Hey fellow chicken lovers I'm in Burlington and have mostly Buff Orpingtons here, older and five just starting to lay. Chickens make up their minds when they want to lay, so it's okay if they're overdue. They'll make up for it in no time!
