Wasp dilemma

So I got a wasp nest above the door where I've drilled holes for ventilation and covered with hardware cloth. So the nest is behind that in the wall. They attack everytime we go in the door. So my dilemma is how to get rid of it. I've covered the hardware cloth with mesh so they can't fit through that. So they may escape into the coop while the girls are locked up and be mad as hell. Do they sting chickens? I'd imagine if they are mad. Any ideas?

That's the problem. I can't spray it. It's in the wall. It's a 8x8 wood shed.

Can you get at nest with the nozzle of a vacuum cleaner to suck them up? Would be better to do it after dark when all present. Then spray a little in to vacuum intake.
