Watched Thread but no Notifications?

I have quite a few watched threads that I want to keep watched, but after a while I don't get notified for them anymore. For example, I watched thread 'What did you do in the garden today', but I get no notifications when there's a new post. Or my thread, 'What is the weirdest thing you have ever eaten' also doesn't notify me.

I'm just wondering if there's a way for me to fix this? Thanks!

Did you get one and miss it?
Mine only gives me one notification for the next person to reply after I view the thread. If I miss it I don't get any other notifications. Unless someone quotes my post.

When I don't get notifications it's always because I missed one.

Remember you will not get a new notification if you did not check the last one for a particular thread.
In order to continue getting notifications you must read them often.

A couple times a week I make a point of looking at my "watched threads" list to see if I've missed any notifications -- especially if I've been using different devices.

Whenever I feel like I’m missing notifications I’ll occasionally go and click this button, as the reason you don’t receive notifications is usually because you missed one.
