water candling eggs

just one more day until my button quail eggs go into lockdown. cant wait till they hatch! i decided to water candle one of the 8 eggs that are incubating, glad to share it with you guys. i used one of the eggs that was removed on day 10 to compare (it was all yolk). heres a link to the video. hope you guys enjoy :D

note: water candling does not harm the chick in any way, unless you use extremely hot or cold water.
 
But it does remove the bloom which is the permeable coating the bird deposits on the egg that keeps bacteria from being able to penetrate the shell.
 
i think your right, but ive never heard of anyone having a problem after doing this. perhaps this might cause problems if you left the egg for too long in the water.
