Water / food for 8 weekers in roost?

Nope, they are sleeping and don't need anything. I do not put any food or water in the coop because it can attract predators. I keep food and water in the totally enclosed run for them. The coop door is open at all times, they can go in and out at will.

No, they do not need feed or water at night. BUT, if you lock them in, and don't let them out first thing in the morning, they should have water available to them. However, if there is any of their fermented feed left at the end of the day, I pick it up and bring it in from the run, b/c I don't want to attract predators. I figure the feed is safer in the coop than it is in the run. My pop door closes on a timer every evening.
