I notice that my chickens are on occasion shaking their head and water comes out of what seems to be their nose. I’m new to this, is it something to be concerned about? I don’t see any other symptoms and they are acting normally, it’s just the head shake, or what seems like blowing the nose.

Have they been drinking when they shake their head?

If they have no symptoms of coughing, sneezing, mucous, watery eyes, facial swelling, lethargy, etc. and are active, eating/drinking and otherwise seemingly happy, I would not worry too much.

Honestly, I’m not sure if it’s right after they are drinking. They are eating and drinking normally, and have no other symptoms.
