Water Nipples

I know my chicks are only 5 weeks old, but what is the average heigth that water nipples are installed for full size chickens ? I have just ordered some nipples for my Red Sex Links.

Someone on here suggested 18". I would agree because mine are lower and I think it causes more leakage because they are drinking from the side instead of being directly beneath the nipples.

Thank you. I really don't want to adjust things as they grow. I'd rather put something underneath so they can use it, then remove it as they get bigger.

Here's what my set up looks like (outside the coop, and then installed). I have them on 2 levels. The high side about 14" up is for my ISA Browns, and the low side about 9" up is for my bantam. All are about 10 weeks old.
