Can anyone give me tips on how to keep my watering station cleaner? The chickens are so messy and the area around the water station is muddy and the water gets filthy to the point of almost turning to mud so we need to change it almost every day. Any suggestions on ways to make the water stay cleaner?
Thanks!

Try raising it up on bricks or hanging it. Get it above the floor/litter level.

Good luck

Bricks would totally work for us. Thanks for the suggestion!

I have the waterer in the run on a cement block ( 8' high). And they still get it muddy.....I guess from their beaks. Not sure what to do now.

Hanging bucket with water nipples may be the ticket....

What type of waterer do you have. Typical hanging waterers also collect a lot of mud. I get very little dirt in the waterer cups and rarly need to clean them.
