Quick questions...
I have started adding the powder packs of Paultry Supplement (1 gal mix) to the chicks water. (26 RIRs)
Is it best to stop adding this when they reach 8 weeks old, or should I continue adding it long after they are adults ?
I have 2 brooder boxes now, (2) 50 gal plastic containers and in each one I have (2) 1 quart waterers. They don't drink all the water in a day so I have been starting with fresh supplemented water one day and the next I just add water to what is left in it. Then dump it all out and start fresh again on the 3rd day. My idea is that more fresh water is better than always supplemented water. Is this a good way or am I wrong ?
