Water Weasel says 99.5 Fluker says something else Almost day 19

Help! everything was going great until last night. I took the eggs out of the turner, set them big end up on pipecleaners and watched the temps go back to 99.5 70% humidity. Today the Water weasel with an Accurite probe reads 99.5, the accurite air reads 97.4 and the Fluker reads 99.1. I have the Water weasle on the floor of the bator so the probe is about equal to the eggs,the accurite is lying sideways resting on the floor and the Fluckers is resting at mid egg height. I don't understand why everthing reads different. The first 17 days were beautiful, every thermometer read 99.5 or close to it. HELP!!

Have heard of but know nothing about these water weasel things. What are they and how good are they? Do they regulate temp or are they just a sensor type thing? Any help woule out really good. Thanx

A water weasel is a fluid filled child's toy into which you insert a thermometer probe. The idea is that is the probe reads the water weasel temp. and this is considered to be the temp inside your eggs. I think the moderator speckledhen posted a pic some time ago. Go to the Search feature and type water weasel, you will get lots of info!
