I know some of you know this but, it's my 1st time using a water wiggler.
My question is this..............The temp in bator with probe inside wiggler reads 100.4 degrees. The wiggler is about the heighth of the center of the eggs which are in a turner.
Is this temp. O.K. ? Also the humidity is holding steady at 46% ...is this O.K. also?

Thanks guys and gals.........it's been a while since we've incubated eggs.
Cyn, if you read this(which I have not a doubt that you will)...I have 4 blue orp. bantam
eggs in with 16 white and black silkie eggs. Not sure of fertility as of yet tho.

yes to what booster says...and your humidity is ok...I usually keep mine for the first 18 days no higher than 40 to 45% so not to not drown the chicks in the eggs...65 to 70% last 3 days...

What's your temp inside the bator and not the wiggler?....99.8 to 101 is ideal for me....

See, everyone has something alittle different that works for them!...lol

Hi, Jeff. That temp isn't bad in the wiggler, but that would be the upper range for a circulated air bator. Anywhere between 99.2 and 100.2 is really fine, but it needs to not just stay high. It's really an average you're looking for, not one exact number all the time, because I really don't think that's possible to keep it on 99.5 every second. A hen doesn't. Your humidity is fine. I like to keep it below 50% like Tuff says.
Good luck on your hatch!
