watering ducks and chickens simultaneously

I have 2 ducks and 4 chickens. I water them using a hanging 2 gallon metal waterer, but the ducks dirty the water constantly. Is there a way to keep the water clean longer with the ducks living in the same coop?

I have 8 ducks and 1 goose and 33 chickens and they all use the same waterers, buckets. I put out fresh water every eve. after everyone is up for the night, 4 buckets and 3 chicken waterers, and they are all dirty with in the hour the next morning. They can't wash their whole bill in the small waterers but still manage to get them filthy, so I have no idea what the solution is, wish i did. The chickens don't seem to mind though. I put oxine in the waterers to help at least kill some of the stuff they are adding.
